GOIN’ TO CHICAGO

W piątek 12 czerwca br. po raz  26 rozpocznie się Chicago Blues Festival, największa bluesowa impreza świata. Odbywać się będzie na pięciu scenach umiejscowionych w położonym w samym centrum miasta, pomiędzy jeziorem Michigan a Michigan Avenue Parku Granta.

W gronie kilkudziesięciu wykonawców widzimy takie nazwiska, jak: Bettye LaVette, Shirley Johnson, Eden Brent,  Trudy Lynn & the Chicago Rhythm & Blues Kings, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, David Honeyboy Edwards,
Charlie Musselwhite, Lil Ed & the Blues Imperials, Lurrie Bell, Travis „Moonchild” Haddix, Little Dave Thompson,  John Primer & the Real Deal Blues Band, Lou Pride, Big Jack Johnson & the Oilers, Jeremy Spencer, Lee Boys.

Jak zwykle festiwal ten jest również przeglądem przebogatej sceny chicagowskiej.
Impreza jest niebiletowana i rokrocznie gromadzi kilkusettysięczną publiczność.

Na ten festiwal do Chicago wybierają się Andrzej Matysik, redaktor naczelny magazynu „Twój Blues” i Zosia Matysik (która złoży relację dla naszego czasopisma).
